STRATEGIC CAPACITY NAVIGATOR

Facilitator Guide

One focused activity: reflect individually, review a personalized roadmap, and share a practical next move.

30 minutes total · 15 assess / 8 review / 7 share

Before participants begin

  • Open the deck and invite participants to strategiccapacity.app. Check internet access and AI recommendations before the session.
  • Form groups of three for the final discussion. Have framework resources ready to distribute separately.
  • Introduce this as self-reflection for development, not a performance assessment. Ratings and work details do not need to be shared.
  • The six capability slides are references, not six additional lessons. Introduce briefly within the first 15 minutes, then move to Assess.

30-minute run of show

00–15

15 minutes

Assess

Invite participants to open the Navigator. Keep the room quiet for individual reflection. Give a five-minute warning at minute 10. This is developmental self-reflection, not a performance assessment.

ASK THE ROOM

  • “Rate how often you demonstrate each behavior at work.”
  • “Use “Not enough opportunity” when you have not had a chance.”

15–23

8 minutes

Review your action plan

Ask participants to review all six results and confirm two starting focuses. They then review the associated frameworks, answer the one application question, and generate recommendations. Remind them to check the AI suggestions for fit and download before closing or refreshing.

ASK THE ROOM

  • “What stands out in your profile?”
  • “Where will you apply these frameworks first?”
  • “Which suggested action is most useful for your current work?”

23–30

7 minutes

Share out

Use groups of three. Allow one minute per person, two minutes to notice common themes, and two minutes for one or two whole-room takeaways. Sharing is voluntary; do not ask participants to disclose ratings or private work details.

ASK THE ROOM

  • “Where will you start, and why?”
  • “What will you do differently in a real work situation?”
  • “What would progress look like?”

Capability discussion prompts

Use selectively during sharing. Ask for a work example, not a score or a new worksheet.

Close at minute 30

Ask: “What is one action you will carry into your work?” Remind participants to save their PDF roadmap or Workshop Workbook before closing or refreshing. Answers remain only in the current session; no participant records are collected by this activity.

If someone runs out of time, invite them to share only what they have. If AI recommendations are unavailable, discuss the selected starting focuses and the application reflection, then retry without refreshing. Do not reinterpret scores or suggest that other capabilities are less important.
